We’ve got the scoop on what’s going on this Labor Day to help you celebrate the unofficial end of summer.

Sunday, September 1

Trenton Thunder v. Reading Fightin’ Phils

    7PM game time, post-game Fireworks Spectacular

 

Monday, September 2

South Plainsfield’s Parade, Festivities & Fireworks

    10AM-12PM Parade with festivities following immediately at the Middle School

    8:30PM Fireworks

 

Labor Day Open on Carnegie Lake

6AM-2PM No club membership required to fish. $110 per boat includes lunker. Solo or  two man team 5 bass limit per boat 12"min length. Venmo Rich Schreiner by Friday, August 30th 6:00pm or cash only at the ramp.

 

The Red White & Bang Children’s Triathlon

 7:30AM-12PM *Pre-Registration was required

The Red, White and Bang Triathlon is for children ages 6-16 years old. This is a major fundraiser for the township’s annual Independence Day Fireworks celebration. All profit from this event will go towards the Fireworks Fund.

Lawrenceville Swimming Association, 74 Craven Lane, Lawrence Township.

 Age Groups: 6-9, 10-12, 13-16.

 

Labor Day BBQ Cook Out at Grounds for Sculpture

10AM-5PM Join Grounds for Sculpture this Labor Day and enjoy all of their BBQ  favorites and beer specials all day long. They’ll have the grills fired up and hot all day.
